Why should I be Bath-Bagging?
Bath Bags are your, all natural, solution for a variety of paediatric and adult skin conditions. It can be used for everything from soothing a sore bottom from nappy rash to hydrating dry skin and offering relief from eczema. The natural ingredients in Bath Bags have been proven over centuries to help relieve dry, itchy, irritated skin due to chickenpox. rashes, eczema, psoriasis, shingles, sunburn, poison ivy/oak/sumac, prickly heat, hives or insect bites.
Chuck a bag in the bath and run it under hot water, stir it and squeeze it like a tea bag, hop in, relax and soak until the water has cooled to room temperature (15-30 minutes). The powdered oatmeal will make the bath extra slippery, so be careful. If you feel somewhat sticky when you're done, rinse with clean warm water. Use a towel to gently pat dry and ensure that the oatmeal remains under the surface of the skin to provide a protective barrier.
There is no plastic in our tea bags but only two ingredients, oatmeal and Dead Sea salt. The ultra-fine oatmeal comes from Scotland and, many studies have shown that oatmeal considerably relieves the symptoms of eczema, chickenpox and other conditions mentioned above. 2,300 feet below sea level, in the lowest place on earth, is the Dead Sea. With an average of 330 full sunny days a year and an oxygen-rich atmosphere, the Dead Sea is a precious jewel of healing and relaxation for people worldwide. The Dead Sea contains a high concentration of minerals that have seeped from the surrounding rocks and soil and been carried by springs to the Dead Sea, which has no outlet. Minerals, such as magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron are known for their ability to calm aching muscles and joints, stimulate natural circulation, smooth and soften the skin and help relieve stress and tension.
